Former Bok duo Dawie Snyman Snr and Marius Joubert have joined Durbanville High’s coaching ranks ahead of the 2017 season.
Snyman played 10 Tests for the Springboks between 1972 and 1977 and has previously coached Western Province, the Blitzboks and Paul Roos.
He was the coach when Province won a record five successive Currie Cup titles between 1982 and 1986.
The 67-year-old former Bok will focus on the school’s player development structures and the skills development of the first XV.
Additionally, ex-Springbok centre Marius Joubert will also help Durbanville High on a consultancy basis.
Shaun Huygen has been retained as head coach and school principal George Germishuys will continue as forwards coach.
