Glenwood thrashed Michaelhouse 56-5 at home, while there were also wins for Clifton, Hilton, Parktown Boys’, St Charles and Maritzburg.
Glenwood ran in eight tries to clock up their sixth consecutive victory, while allowing Michaelhouse to cross the line only once.
Fullback Dylan Kruger opened the scoring for the hosts with the first try. He was followed across the line by winger Gideon Lubbe, who would go on to score a hat-trick.
Eighthman Marco Palvie was the first to cross the line in the second half. Inside centre Marthinus Holtzhausen and captain Austin Brummer followed him, with replacement Conan le Fleur rounding off the try-fest just before full-time.
Holtzhausen converted all eight tries.
In other matches in KwaZulu-Natal, Clifton and Parktown Boys’ beat Port Natal and Northwood respectively, both with a 26-24 scoreline, Kearsney College went down 31-23 to Hilton College, St Charles College cruised past George Campbell 41-25, and Maritzburg College beat Pretoria Boys’ 32-11.
