Wing Mangaliso Ntimba scored four tries as Jeppe beat St John’s 36-28 at home on Saturday.
The hosts scored two tries to lead 12-6 after 13 minutes, with St John’s flyhalf Kieran Houlston kicking two penalties.
Houlston then slotted a third penalty and converted St John’s first try as they went in front. However, the hosts hit back with an unconverted try eight minutes later and took a 17-16 lead into the break.
The visitors struck first in the second half with an unconverted try, before the hosts responded with a converted try.
St John’s regained the lead eight minutes later with a converted try, but two more tries from Jeppe secured victory for the home side.
