Kearsney hope to heap further misery on Maritzburg College in Pietermaritzburg this Saturday.
Maritzburg have won just four matches this season, against fellow strugglers Pretoria Boys’ (32-11), Michaelhouse (30-20), Wynberg (29-28) and Northwood (43-18), and drew 32-32 with KES. Their biggest loss was a 60-13 hammering at the hands of Grey College.
Kearsney have won seven of their 11 fixtures, including a narrow 39-36 victory against SACS at the Kearsney Festival and a 64-22 thrashing of Michaelhouse three weeks ago.
In other fixtures in KwaZulu-Natal, St Charles, who have won five of their eight matches this season, host Michaelhouse, who have tasted victory just once (17-11 against Pretoria Boys’ at the St Stithians Festival), while DHS will be looking for their 10th win of the season against Kloof High School.
