Home-ground advantage should benefit KES when they tackle Pretoria Boys’ on Saturday.
Neither side has had the best of starts to the season, with KES winning two from five and Pretoria Boys’ yet to record a win.
KES have beaten Kingwood (26-5) and Northwood (39-24) this season, while going down to Ben Vorster (26-17), Helpmekaar (47-29) and Waterkloof (30-14).
Pretoria Boys’ have lost all five of their games against St Andrew’s College (38-6), Michaelhouse (17-11) and Graeme College (20-10) at the St Stithians Easter Festival and then against Jeppe (59-18) and Maritzburg (32-11).
And while the visitors will be looking for their first win of the season, they won’t have forgotten that KES have won the last four fixtures, home and away, between the two sides.
In Saturday’s other Gauteng matches, Oos-Moot, who have won their last three against Ellisras (48-3), Frikkie Meyer (22-18) and John Vorster (15-10), travel to Pretoria to take on Affies’ 2nd XV.
