Three newcomers will take part in the 16th edition of King Edward VII School’s annual festival.
The KES festival was first staged in 2002, and while at first the intention was for the festival to be a once-off event, it has grown to be one of the biggest annual junior sport gatherings. With talent scouts always on the lookout, it has become one of the main attractions on the schools calendar.
With the exception of St Davids Marist, St Benedicts and Queens, all the other teams from last year will attend the 2017 festival. The 12-team lineup will be completed by newcomers Noordheuwel and Cape duo Rondebosch and Wynberg.
