SACS face a tough battle against Boland Landbou on Saturday.
Boland Landbou have won three out of four games this season, with wins against Langenhoven Gym (32-13) at the Paul Roos Rugby Day in March, and Kempton Park (69-10) and Menlopark (50-10) at the North-South tournament played at Garsfontein. Their first loss of the season was against Paarl Gym last weekend, losing 34-14 at home.
SACS have made a strong start to their season despite one draw and one loss. They began the season with a 19-13 win over Framesby at the Kearsney Easter Festival, lost 39-36 to the festival hosts and then drew 10-10 with Selborne. Last weekend, they claimed a 45-13 home win against Durbanville.
In other matches in the Western Cape on Saturday, Paarl Boys’ will look to extend their 25-match unbeaten streak when they travel to Bishops, while Rondebosch Boys’ will be hoping to feed off their 29-8 win over Wynberg Boys’ last weekend when they face De Kuilen in their first away fixture of the season.
Paarl Gym host Paul Roos, last year’s Sanix World Rugby Youth Tournament winners, in the second Premier Interschools clash of the season.
