The Varsity Cup final on Monday night will boast players from 30 different high schools from South Africa and Namibia.
In honour of the occasion, a unique pink ball will carry the names of all 16 Springboks produced by the Varsity Cup in nine years, as well as the names of the headmasters of the 30 schools represented in the final.
Each school has also received a personal letter from Varsity Cup CEO Duitser Bosman congratulating them on producing such promising players.
While most schools only have one representative, Paarl Boys’ High have seven old boys taking the field on Monday night.
